Fun & Easy Snowflake Craft!

Today we enjoyed learning about snowflakes.  Though there haven’t been many real snowflakes yet this year, we enjoyed making some of our own after a few great books.  We enjoyed Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats and The Story of Snow by Marc Cassino.  This is an awesome book (my favorite!) about snowflakes (science, non-fiction).

After reading about snowflakes, we decided to do a super easy craft that kiddos always love.

Materials:

  • White coffee filters
  • scissors

We decided it was time to take down our beautiful fall leaves from an earlier post  Simple Fall Craft to Brighten Up a Window .  However, we left up the tree representing a tree in the winter and decided to add our snowflakes around it.  The kiddos were so proud and excited to hang them up!
